HOW DO I PURCHASE A FIXTURE?
To purchase a fixture, you may contact us through our CONTACT page, or by email to: email@example.com. We will be happy to discuss the specifics of your custom order. Once you place your order, we will work closely with you in the designing of your fixture and selecting finishes, re-purposed glass globes and jewelry elements.
Trade discounts are available.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF MY ORDER?
A 50% deposit is required prior to custom design and production (100% deposit for international orders). The invoice balance – including any tax due, packaging, shipping/delivery and insurance – must be received prior to shipping or delivery. Once production has begun the order is non-refundable. Typical lead time is 8-10 weeks. There are exceptions to this, so if you require a quicker turn-around, please inquire.
Please inspect all orders upon receipt. Michelle James NYC is not responsible for damage that may occur after delivery is received. If damage is present at delivery, it must be photographed and documented and all packaging must be retained. The damage should be reported immediately to the carrier and Michelle James NYC.
Due to the custom nature of our fixtures, we do not accept returns. If there is a problem with your order, please contact Michelle James NYC at firstname.lastname@example.org within 10 days of receipt. If there is a manufacturer defect, we will supply a replacement or replacement part.
Please NOTE: many of the re-purposed glass globes and jewelry elements are one-of-a-kind, and cannot be replaced. Therefore, an alternative may be offered in its place.

CAN I SEE COMPLETED FIXTURES OR RECEIVE FINISH SAMPLES?
Many images of custom fixtures can be seen on our website. If you would like to see a fixture in person, you may schedule an appointment to visit our studio. There you will find a rotating display of finished pieces, works in progress, a huge selection of glass globes and finish samples.
Finishes available are natural, satin, polished, blackened or antique brass; satin or polished nickel; and natural or blackened steel. Finish samples may be ordered by contacting us.

MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
All orders are carefully packed, insured and shipped via UPS, FEDEX or your preferred carrier. For local orders, delivery or customer pick-up is an option. Once an order is placed, shipping costs will be determined based on delivery location. Tax will be assessed for all orders shipped to NY locations. If appropriate, please provide us with your resale certificate. For international orders, any local tax, VAT or duties will be the responsibility of the customer.

I INSTALL AND CLEAN MY FIXTURE?
All fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician. Michelle James NYC is not responsible for the improper installation of its fixtures.
Bulbs are not included, but you will be instructed as to which bulbs are appropriate for your fixture. Most bulbs may be purchased at any local hardware store.
Fixtures and globes may be carefully cleaned with a soft, slightly dampened cloth. Do not use household cleaners or anything abrasive.
